I am quarantined. Along with most of the world.
On top of navigating this pandemic in the workplace, refreshing my resume, and curating a new portfolio, all I can think about is running away to the north. Cruising down M22, windows down, warm air blowing through my hair.
Yes, M22, and all the perfect little gems that speckle the coast line. My home. The tourist trap that sucks in visitors from around the world for 3 months out of the year before going to sleep once again.
In a quest to create the same M22 feeling in my regular day-to-day activities, I have created TWO separate M22 playlists with two different genres. One houses a collection of classics while the other is a compilation of my favorite modern-day wavy tunes! Songs perfectly curated for lake life: driving, boating, hiking, whatever that may mean to you.
Summer is definitely different this year, and quarantine is definitely STILL REAL, but I want to encourage you to get outside and recreate responsibly. Wear a mask where necessary. Avoid large crowds. Practice social distancing. And lastly… WASH YOUR HANDS!
There’s no telling when our reality will return to the norm, but at least we still have our lovely mitten summer. Enjoy! š
